# Terms of use

## Purpose

These terms govern the use of LocalATSCV, a free tool for creating, analyzing and tailoring resumes and cover letters that runs entirely in your browser.

## Access to the service

The service is free and requires no sign-up. It is provided as is: the publisher may change, suspend or discontinue it at any time without notice.

## Your data and backups

Your resumes and letters are stored only in your browser. You alone are responsible for keeping them: clearing browser data, switching devices or using private browsing may erase them. Export a JSON backup regularly.

## Content

You are responsible for the information you enter, its accuracy and the files you import. Only import resumes you are allowed to use.

## Scores and suggestions

Scores (ATS analysis, job ad match) and suggestions are indicative. They guarantee neither that a given recruiting software will read your resume correctly nor that you will get an interview.

## Liability

The software is provided without warranty of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, the publisher cannot be held liable for data loss or any indirect damage resulting from the use of the service.

The source code is distributed under the MIT license: you may read, modify and redistribute it under its terms, available on [GitHub](https://github.com/ImMaxence/LocalATSCV/blob/main/LICENSE). The resumes and letters you create belong to you.
